Mohammad Farah Question and Answer Session
london August 2011
Last week I was invited to Queen Mary’s university Sports Centre in Teddington, London for a Q+A with Mo Farah.
The event was organised by Mo Farah’s sponsors, Nike UK, and so the event kicked off with an overview of some of the Nike running shoe lines as well as a first look at the special track running shoes that Nike are planning on releasing for the 2012 London Olympic Games.
The MD of Nike UK bought along a true part of UK Olympic memorabilia when he pulled out the pair of Nike Running shoes that were worn by Sebastian Coe when he set the world record for the 1500m in the 1980 Olympic Games.
The Interview with Mo Farah then kicked off with a few questions around his move to Oregon USA as well as what kind of training he is undertaking for the 2012 London Olympic Games. He then shared a few of his tips and tricks with the audience before taking some lighter questions around his favourite football team, Arsenal FC.
Highlights from the Questions and Answers Session can be Seen Below:

I was only there for the free trainers!
Meeting Mo was great for the kids though
It is interesting to hear that Mo used to work at Sweatshop…maybe it was being around all those running shoes all day that gave him his super running powers!
